Many people poke fun at them; however, what would we possibly accomplish without wives, husbands or vice versa?

Although the two genders are different in nature, they are accepted as having different purposes. Our societies declare the two sexes to be equal in respect, but different in the roles they play. Each of them has a somewhat unique sphere of action. Men generally undertake whatever is physically harder, while women deal with whatever is physically lighter.

Herein lies the problem. In today’s world, the distinction has largely disappeared. The exploitation of women by many men is rampant.

There is a common belief that Islam gives a higher status to men in comparison to women. According to one source and contrary to this common misconception, Islam actually gives equal status to women and men. The Quran spells it out: "You are members, one of another. The most perfect man is one who excels in character and the best among you is he who gives the best treatment to his womenfolk." There are, however, some countries and theological sects that remain in the dark today.

We all know there are psychological differences between men and women. And they affect matters as trivial as sensitivity to smelly socks and as significant as susceptibility to disorders such as depression and autism.

Women are achieving more educationally and participating more in the labor force than ever before, there is a widespread perception among the public that full equality between men and women remains an elusive goal. Only four-in-ten people say that society generally treats men and women equally.

When it comes to the workplace, there is a strong sense among the public that the playing field is uneven. A majority of Americans say the country needs to continue making changes to give men and women equality in this realm. Some 55% believe that men earn more money than women for doing the same job, and nearly half say there’s a gender gap in hiring and promotions when it comes to the top jobs in business and government. There is a disconnect, however, between these public perceptions and what people actually experience in their workplace. Very few adults say these gender gaps exist where they work.

While women have made substantial gains in the workplace in recent decades, there is clear evidence that women remain underrepresented at the top levels of American business and politics. According to recent research, women currently hold 4.2% of Fortune 500 CEO positions and 4.5% of Fortune 1000 CEO positions. And when it comes to politics, women hold only 18% of the seats in the U.S. Congress and only 23% of statewide elected executive offices.

A woman is expected to be a classy lady all the time. keep legs crossed when seated, and never fart. A guy is free to not suppress any normal bodily functions. And he so often does not do so! We so often make fun of women drivers. There are too many jokes that poke fun at the woman in a marriage. Many still find them fun and acceptable.
