I used to call my alter ego 'Stupid Man'. He was the uncontrollable, raging spirit that arose in my gut whenever horrid situations were introduced to me. Recently, I moved him from my gut and relocated him onto my right shoulder. It worked! Now, when I feel the anger and tension building up inside because of bad drivers, dumb commercials, politicians, human error, Blue Jay screw ups, and other 'spilled milks', I stare at my right shoulder and tell STUPID MAN to shut up! I am quickly relieved of wasted energy and stress. The new me is transformed into a calm, peaceful person.
Often I find myself filled with regret over bad choices and decisions made in the past. My mind calls for a 'do-over'. Of course these former moments and alternative choices are not possible. Shut up Stupid Man!

PAROLE?
Melissa Todorovic was guilty of 1st-degree murder in 2009 for ordering her then-boyfriend, David Bagshaw, to kill his ex girl friend, 14-yr-old Stefanie Rengel.
At her trial, Justice Ian Nordheimer, ruled that, "The puppet master is not less blameworthy than the puppet,” and sentenced her as an adult and not a youth. Hence he ordered a 'LIFE SENTENCE' which should also include no parole eligibility for 25 years; however Todorovic applied for parole after 7 years in prison. She was denied full parole.
In 2019, Todorovic was granted six months of day parole, but she was brought back to prison last year after the board found she had become entangled in a secret love triangle. Her day parole was eventually revoked and Todorovic’s appeal of the ruling was dismissed in January.
In seeking full parole, Todorovic suggested staying at a halfway house where she would have access to support, or at her parents’ home. In both situations, she would seek to continue post-secondary learning. Sentenced to life in prison in 2019, Todorovic was able to apply for parole after seven years.
Stupid man had to be told several times to shut up. He wanted to know if the feelings of Stephanie Rengel’s family were considered in awarding the possibility of parole.

Remember the travesty that revolved around the crimes of Karla Homolka and her statements at Bernardo’s trial that resulted in her lenient treatment. And now, her partner in murder, Paul Bernardo is seeking parole. What about the families of the victims?
Convicted rapist and killer Paul Bernardo is facing a parole board. It is his first bid for freedom after serving 25 yrs for the murders of two teenaged girls and the numerous rapes in the Scarborough area. He was sentenced to life without parole eligibility until he had served 25 years since his arrest in early 1993.

As part of Wednesday's hearing, the mother's of Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy submitted victim impact statements.
Donna French's daughter was abducted by Bernardo on April 16, 1992 and murdered three days later.
IMPACT STATEMENTS BY THEIR MOTHERS.
Both of them ended lengthy statements with the following message:
"You Bernardo require jail, in my view, for the rest of your natural life.”

A man with autism says he was left feeling humiliated and angry after being told his face mask exemption was not legitimate while he shopped at a city mall.
Karol Dell, who has been diagnosed with adult Asperger’s syndrome, said a manager at the Foot Locker at Christchurch’s Westfield Riccarton shopping centre told him to leave the store on Saturday after he took his face mask off.
Dell said he had been trying to wear a mask but became agitated as he suffers from sensory overload.
