THE MESSAGE:

Dreams can sustain us, provide us with direction and help  make our existence  more meaningful and exciting. Our dreams might not be realized, but they can  make us aware of who we are and what we could do with our life. When life seems meaningless and dull  dreams can rescue our outlook.  At the outset of a relationship, lovers often choose to believe that they are living their dreams with their partner. Some dreams do come true; however, they are valuable even if  not fully fulfilled. We must ensure that our dreams are somehow connected to our reality. Everyone needs a moderate amount of dreams, that adhere to this condition.

TONY TODAY:

I have chosen to investigate the relationship between two famous stars. Andy Gibbs, the youngest brother of the Bee Gees but not a member of the famous group, and Victoria Principal, the actress with a starring role in the TV Drama 'Dallas'. It is believed that Andy Gibb and Victoria Principal could not fulfill their dream because of Andy's drug addiction which is blamed for shattering that dream.  Victoria could not tolerate it. After losing Victoria, Andy confessed, “I fell apart. I started to do cocaine around the clock.”

The couple produced a version of the Everly Brothers song: All I Have To Do Is Dream which became a big hit for Andy and Victoria.

At age 30, Andy died from a heart infection most likely affected by drugs. Barry, the only surviving member of the Bee Gees today, is convinced that the actress helped push his brother into a death spiral after their ugly breakup in 1982. Barrie's family believe Victoria was responsible for Andy’s troubles” and she turned him into a cocaine addict.

Victoria  has a rescue ranch where she rehabilitates animals that have been neglected and abused. She became a best-selling author, writing three books about beauty, skincare, fitness, well-being, and health: The Body Principal (1983), The Beauty Principal (1984), and The Diet Principal (1987).
