THE COMEBACK:
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I THINK YOU’RE KIDDING YOURSELF.
THE MESSAGE::
There can be no honesty without character. Sometimes an individual distorts the truth because she or he is afraid of losing something. In reality what their lies result in is a loss of character. It is imperative to our existence that we maintain a reality that is prepared to face the consequences of our behaviours. An individual with a solid sense of character is trustworthy and fearless of the consequences of being honest. Such a person does not rely on excuses or half truths to face up to the course of action chosen. It all comes down to the reality of courage, honesty and character that should be paramount in all that we do in our lives. If it is true that we have a loved one and reliable family and friends, then it follows that honesty is mandatory to develop and maintain their trust in our character. Everyone is allowed to make mistakes in the choices they make; however, they should never compound a relationship or their character because of fear, shame, or loss of status, reward or reputation!
TONY TODAY:
Honesty leads to a fulfilling and free life. It is not just about telling the truth. It's about being real with yourself and others about who you are, what you want from life and what you require to exist within an authentic reality. Honesty sharpens our perception and allows us to observe everything around us with clarity.
Honesty defined:
"Honesty is a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straightforwardness, including straightforwardness of conduct, along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft, etc. Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere.”
