Why is Trump being vilified for confronting the World Health Organization?

The Coronavirus started in Wuhan, where a new hospital was built in under 20 days. The question arises why there is no effect of Coronavirus in nearby Beijing or Shanghai. Many deaths have been reported in Italy, Iran, several European countries and the USA. India is locked down but all the cities of China are open. The Chinese have also announced the opening of Wuhan from April 08. Not a single leader in China has tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
US President Donald Trump has accused the World Health Organization (WHO) of mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus after it emerged in China. He added that the US would halt WHO funding while his administration took some time to review and analyze WHO's actions.
The virus has hurt many economies around the world. Several countries have had to close their borders in an attempt to contain and control the spread of the Covid-19. Thousands have died, millions have now contracted this disease. Countless people have been locked in their homes and many countries have placed their citizens on lock down. The world's major social, economic and political centres are closed. Paris is closed, New York City is closed, Berlin is closed, Delhi is closed, Mumbai is closed and Tokyo is closed. Why is it that Beijing and Shanghai are open. The relatively few cases of the virus had no major effect here. In Canada and the US, the major league sports schedules have been shut down.
Many in western societies are suspecting that Coronavirus is a bio-chemical weapon which China used to carry out destruction in the world in order to gain economic supremacy. Is this a reality or merely another 'Conspiracy Theory’. Just because it is Trump attacking the WHO, does not mean that his actions are entirely without merit.
Back in 2017, Director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’ of the WHO, nominated Robert Mugabe, the horrible Rwandan dictator, as a 'goodwill ambassador’. That should tell you right away that something is a bit off about Tedros. By extension does this speak of the honesty and effectiveness of the WHO? It’s a good thing for all of us that the UN didn’t let him get away with naming Mugabe.
Meanwhile this statement was issued by Canada’s Minister of Health, Patty Hajdu from Thunder Bay, ON, “There is no indication that the data that came out of China in terms of their death rate and infection rate was falsified in any way.” Hajdu’s questionable claim won the praise of China’s officials. Chen Weihua is the European Union editor of the China Daily. This publication is wholly and directly owned by the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda department. Chen praised Hajdu as a “role model,” and blasted Canadian news reporters as “paparazzi journalists and fear mongers.”
Some suspect that Hajdu's action was an attempt to ensure a Canadian seat on the Security Council of the UN. It seems obvious that Trudeau was involved with her statements.
Did she ignore the fact that the South China Morning Post had already acquired classified Chinese health ministry estimates suggesting the actual numbers of COVID-19 cases in China by February was perhaps 120,000, and not 80,000.
The authorities were deliberately withholding asymptomatic cases from the total number of positive-test COVID-19 individuals. By the time of Hajdu’s outburst, Beijing had already admitted to the practice, and only days earlier had pledged to abandon it.

The facts are now quite clear. Chinese authorities covered up the initial outbreak of Covid-19. If China had acted promptly and decisively, the outbreak could have been confined to Wuhan and its central Hubei province. The weeks-long coverup helped send our world into a serious recession.

Beijing is where many leaders of China live, including their military leaders. Shanghai is the economic capital of China, where all the rich people live and run major industries. There is no lock down in either city and no major effects of Covid-19. Meanwhile the worldwide share market has fallen by almost half.

There is almost no doubt the Chinese Communist Party covered up the medical catastrophe it had on its hands for more than a month. Then, once it admitted it had a problem on Dec. 31 of last year, the World Health Organization let China deal with it on its own for a further three weeks before finally pressing for international teams to entire Hubei province and help contain the spread. Also China’s neighbour, democratic Taiwan, was telling the WHO in December that human-to-human transmission of the coronavirus was happening, even as China was insisting it wasn’t.
The WHO permitted China to spew its propaganda line that humans could not pass on COVID-19 for almost a month. had the WHO acted faster, tens of thousands of lives could have been saved, the economic shutdown avoided and perhaps the pandemic itself prevented.
