HOPE! BLOG #2373; FRI OCT 21, 2022

OCT 21

THE COMEBACK:

We should place armed guards in our schools!

THE MESSAGE:

Most people go to bed at night and expect to wake in the morning with good feelings and much trust. A simple way of explaining this is found in one word, HOPE rather than desire, anticipation, or expectation.

IMAGINE:

One may desire or expect a certain outcome; however, if a particular anticipation is not forthcoming, the result may transform  into negative thoughts and feelings. Imagine a child opening  birthday presents. If the child desires a particular thing and it is not received the child gets upset or displays a tantrum and shows no appreciation for the presents received.

REALITY

Hope is not tied to a particular outcome. It does not depend on certainty. Hope is  the belief that there is the potential for something good to happen. That  good is not anything specific. It is merely the idea of a positive expectation.

TONY TODAY:

Hope is not just important, it is one of the most essential things in life.It keeps us going and reminds us that bad times cannot last. It spurs us on to greater things

HOPE:

  • Tells us things will get better.
  • Tells us how to act now.
  • Helps to motivate us.
  • Helps to eliminate negative thoughts.
  • Helps us to become a source of hope for others.

If someone has lost hope, the challenges  faced may seem insurmountable. This is why one must try to find hope again.
