LOVE IS NOT PRACTICAL.

Love isn't meant to be easy. It puts you face to face with a myriad of obstacles. It doesn't appear with a wish or a command. It doesn't give you the choice of a partner. The reality doesn’t arrive at the most opportune moment or at a desired time. The object of your affection could be someone you might never have expected it to be; however,  none of that will matter because it's how you overcome its obstacles that will define your love. It may not be practical, but love is ultimately the best thing that will ever happen to you.

 

My mom used to say: "Guarda innanzi che tu salti." (look before you leap); however,  .............. I wish.

True love is the greatest of all gifts. It always occurs in the here and now and makes no allowance for what can or will happen in the future. It is rooted in one's early development, and its capacity to expand is nurtured by a caring family and friends. It is a sad reality that true love is unavailable to many individuals for many reasons.
