CHARACTER; BLOG # 2349;;FRI MAY 06,2022

THE COMEBACK:

THE MESSAGE:

Character Involves integrity, courage, and compassion. People of good character are guided by ethical principles even when it’s physically dangerous or detrimental to their careers, social standing, or economic well-being. They do the right thing even when it costs more than they want to pay. No one is born with good character; It’s not a hereditary trait nor is it determined by a single noble act. Rather It is achieved by constant adherence to moral values that transcend cultural, religious, and socioeconomic differences. The obvious ethical characteristics  are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

TONY TODAY:

The efforts of parents, teachers, and other respected individuals to achieve the values of character can have a great influence on those that a child adopts. It is generally agreed, that ultimately,  the roles of choice and accountability  are key factors in the formation of character. The way we treat people we believe can’t affect us  reveals more about our true character than how we treat important ones. How we behave when we think no one sees us or when we don’t think we will get caught is a more accurate portrayal of our character than what we say or do in the appearance of our reputations.

 CHARACTER AND REPUTATION.

Reputation is merely a perception; however, it still has a very significant and real impact. It is not only the result of what people think of us but it also can determine what people who don’t really know us or think about us. It can affect the way we are treated and whether or not we are held in high esteem. The indisputable truth is that people, companies and institutions are likely to be judged by their latest worst behaviour. Thus, some unwisely became so preoccupied with protecting their image that they actually made things worse, undermining their character and destroying their reputations, by concealing or creating facts to make them look better. character always counts.
