LIFE GOES ON, OR DOES IT? BLOG #2323; FRI NOV 05, 2021

THE COMEBACK:

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

THAT’S RIGHT!  I CAN SEE FOR MILES AND MILES.....

THE MESSAGE:

For me the lyrics of a good song provide a valuable clue when reflecting on interpersonal relationships. Deception is probably the most common cause for disillusionment and breakup. Respect and honour spring from trust. Violating a dear friend's trust is not an indictable crime; however, there is no greater harm that can be done to a loved one than deliberate lies and deception.

Sometimes we are born as innocent victims of a  complicated struggle. Sometimes one is sufficiently fortunate to enter into the world without a debilitating or terminal disease and lucky enough to be born of responsible parents. Everyone needs parents who are willing and able to provide nurture, sustenance, suitable shelter, education, empathy for others, and basic societal values. In such a light   the voyage can begin with love, trust and hope.

TONY TODAY:

THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

There are bumps, single lanes, detours, flagmen, heavy equipment that can slow you down, test your patience cause you to select a new route and lead you astray.

THE RELATIONSHIP HIGHWAY
A good relationship is when someone ACCEPTS your past, SUPPORTS your present and ENCOURAGES your future.

A true friend is one who knows all about you and likes you anyway.

He who forgives ends the quarrel.

THE MUSIC:

THE WHO
I know you've deceived me, now here's a surprise
I know that you have, 'cause there's magic in my eyes.
I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles .....

THE STUFF:

THE PERSISTENCE PARKWAY

A smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.
You can’t direct the wind, but you can adjust your sails.

Well done! is better than, Well said!

The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime.

If the going gets easy you may be going downhill.

Failure is the path of least persistence.
One who lacks courage to start has already finished.

A quitter never wins, A winner never quits. A coward never starts.

.
A smile takes only 13 muscles; It is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

A frown takes 64 muscles.

THE PUN:

Dieters are people that are THICK and tired of it.

THE QUESTION:

How does one take the right path to happiness and success?

THE QUOTE:

"To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funny bone." Reba McEntire

THE LEMON:

YES, YOU GUESSED IT!
