LETS THINK ABOUT IT; BLOG #2271; FRI NOV 06,2020

THE COMEBACK:

HOLY CRAP!  STOP THE CRYING PLEASE!

I WILL NOT BE SILENCED!

THE MESSAGE:

We are all primarily responsible for ourselves and our children. When it comes to other people we are responsible for our effort, the truth, our words and  our actions. Ideally our relationships are honest, inspired, reflected upon, caring and containing some degree of empathy for others. Thankfully we are allowed this freedom in Canada. Hopefully we have been raised to make free choices and to be held accountable for our choices.

Many Canadians have given their lives to protect our freedom! We owe them   respect by caring about what this Country is doing. For example, Trudeau likes to pound his chest and claim that "A Canadian  is a Canadian  and Canada is a world leader in green energy.”

I believe that our communities and people come first!  We need to educate ourselves on the important issues of Health, Safety, Education, Employment, Canadian Values, Respect for the Law and Justice and Freedom for all Canadians. Only afterwards do we need to be aware of and care about world issues.

TONY TODAY:

It is  obvious that when it comes to casting our ballots in any election we do one of the following:

  1. Not bother to vote due to indifference

  2. Can't vote due to being incapacitated.

  3. Not bother to vote because we don’t like the candidates.

  4. Vote because we are influenced by the opinions of others, the propaganda of the party line or hollow promises.

  5. Vote unintelligently because we haven’t read enough, listened carefully enough, experienced enough or haven’t been affected enough.

  6. Vote with intelligence, knowledge and morality

CLIMATE CHANGE????

You may ask “what about the Environment?” I believe in reforestation, air quality, conservation of resources and concern for wildlife, fresh water and food supplies. Environmental extremists have the ear of our decision makers. Our planet is not in peril; however, many of its human inhabitants find themselves in a perilous state.

If people are forced to breathe polluted air resulting in health issues, then let’s stop polluting by improving technology and taking the time to make it safe and efficient instead of rushing into unproven programs that threaten to eliminate jobs and incomes and raise the costs of production with bogus Government Environmental Programs.

A) Let’s concentrate on advancing useful products, ideas and services instead of:
· Bigger governments and more civil servants
· Fake or biased media
· More TV channels with Idiotic commercials
. Lotto programs & cosmetics advertising
· Wind turbines that are a costly health hazard
· Subsidies to private industry

B) Policing
. Train our police in better communication & social skills as well as tactical skills
. Use our armed police to deal with murderers, gangs and violent offenders
. Provide well trained forces to patrol troubled or known problem neighbourhoods
. Scammers and fraudsters require more severe jail time
. Protesting rallies and traffic policing do not require guns.

C) We need development with proven overall benefits in:
  • Energy harnessing
  • Energy consumption and efficiency
  • Energy storage
  • Rapid transit
  • Community facilities
  • Cost reduction of health care
  • Fighting poverty
  • More Community college apprentice programs
  • Taxation reform
  • Power to Municipalities
  • More 1 way streets in Toronto
  • Time spent in ridings by parliamentary representatives rather than in Congress
  • Senate reform

THE MUSIC:

Somewhere - West Side Story - Lucy Thomas

INTERESTING STUFF:
  • The sentence, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" uses every letter in the English language.

THE PUN:

Q. Why is men’s soccer so confusing?

A. There are too many balls on the field at the same time!

THE QUESTION:

How would you add to or edit the list in C) above? Do You Care?

THE LEMON:

Awarded to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats for focusing on the 25th amendment to the constitution, which contains a clause that allows a president to be removed from office against his will because of physical or mental incapacity.
