MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE: BLOG #2068: JAN 20, 2017

THE MESSAGE:

Do you accept the notion that man has created a catastrophic change in the Earth's climate? One noted skeptic Dr. Tim Ball, a Doctor of Science from the University of London, England is convinced that the United Nations has contributed to the false conclusions presented to the world.

One of the greatest deceptions in our history has to be the claim that human CO2 is causing catastrophic global warming. So-called scientists refer to this scam as 'Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW).

THE BLURB:

In a 'Merry-go-round' scenario, the United Nations World Meteorological Organization (WMO) appointed the members of the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). As the UN apparently mandated, the IPCC   then produced the "science" to support the AGW claim.  It was an  arrangement that had political and pseudo scientific overtones that should have raised an alarm for the UN and the legitimate scientific community .

Most of the researchers who controlled the IPCC were based at or associated with the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. This is a public research university located in the city of Norwich, England (EAU).

In November 2009, a month before the UN required a political decision for the Kyoto Protocol, 1000 emails were leaked that exposed the corruption of climate science by this handful of people at EAU. Even back then the leak was blamed on a Russian hacker. Public Relations people were engaged to control and whitewash investigations, four in the UK and one at Penn State University in the US.

A Guardian reporter George Monbiot, is a British writer, known for his environmental and political activism.

While he is a strong supporter of the IPCC and the CRU he wrote:
It’s no use pretending that this isn’t a major blow. The emails extracted by a hacker from the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia could scarcely be more damaging. I am now convinced that they are genuine, and I’m dismayed and deeply shaken by them.

Clive Crook born in 1955 in Yorkshire, England is a columnist for the Financial Times, the National Journal and a senior editor at the Atlantic Monthly, wrote in The Atlantic:

I had hoped, not very confidently, that the various 'Climategate' inquiries would be severe. This would have been a first step towards restoring confidence in the scientific consensus. But no, the reports make things worse. At best, they are mealy-mouthed apologies; at worst, they are patently incompetent and even willfully wrong. The climate-science establishment, of which these inquiries have chosen to make themselves a part, seems entirely incapable of understanding, let alone repairing, the harm it has done to its own cause.
ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING

The AGW deception became an international reality. Too many people had too much invested, and most of the public didn’t understand what was happening.
In Australia, Senator Macolm Roberts challenged the government bureaucrats to produce empirical evidence of AGW. They could not do so.
In the USA President-Elect Trump appointed Myron Ebell to oversee the activities of the EPA and climate change.
On Capitol Hill, Senator Roberts, Tony Heller and Tim Ball made presentations, similar but shorter, than those given in Australia. The audience included members of the Senate, Congress, and their aides, plus members of the public. A broad question and answer session followed.  It was noted that Trump does not want to eliminate the EPA. Rather  he is a champion of clean air and water. The real issue is the overreach, over-regulation, and political nature of many of the actions perpetrated as a result of AGW influence.

Obama had used the bureaucracies, and especially the EPA, to carry out his political agenda. A major discussion centered on the US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Conference Agreement.  The conclusion was that legally, there was nothing to prevent the US simply walking away.
There is little doubt the Trump administration will walk. The U.S. is paying much of the cost of the UN climate program and even if they cut back major industrialized competitors, China and India continue to build coal-burning plants.
The Paris Agreement requires developed nations to contribute $100 billion a year to the Green Climate Fund, which was the replacement "transfer of wealth" program that replaced the Kyoto Protocol.

POOR CANADA!

Trudeau's Canada has committed $2.65 billion to the fund..  That was in addition to the $300 million contributed by the Harper government.

It is a fact that Canada, with its arboreal forests, absorbs more Carbon than it produces. Why should our country pay any money to a global 'Green Climate Fund'? Why are Canadians being faced with an additional tax on Carbon? We need to actually think through the ridiculous phobia that sham charities and various protest groups put forth in their assault on the use of fossil fuels.

Tim Ball declares, "This money will do absolutely nothing to stop global warming, even if it was a real problem. There are more important needs at home. For example, it is likely that the money would solve all the domestic water supply problems on reservations across Canada."
"This government funding fits the wry definition of foreign aid that 'takes money from the poor people in rich countries, and gives it to the rich people of poor countries'."

Man made Global Warming

The Kyoto Protocol covers six greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons and sulphur hexafluoride. Of these six gases, three are of primary concern because they are closely associated to human activities.

  • Today's atmosphere contains 42 per cent more carbon dioxide than it did at the start of the industrial era. Where are studies that prove this hypothesis?
  • Levels of methane and carbon dioxide are the highest they have been in nearly half a million years. How in hell do they prove this? It is always stated that the theories could be true or perhaps or maybe, or probably!
  • Methane is produced naturally when vegetation is burned, digested or rotted without the presence of oxygen. The last I heard was that nothing can burn without the presence of Oxygen.
  • Large amounts of methane are released by cattle farming, pig farming, rice farming and the production of oil and gas. To date all we hear about is the evil of fossil fuels. Are the governments contemplating a cap and trade on milk and beef farms  or maybe just an additional baloney tax?
  • Climate Science claims, on one hand, that Carbon dioxide is the main contributor to climate change, especially through the burning of fossil fuels.
  • Then it continues with more doublespeak. Nitrous oxide, released by chemical fertilizers and burning fossil fuels, has a global warming potential 310 times that of carbon dioxide.

THE QUESTION:

Is man insignificant in the grand scheme of destroying the planet?
