VICTORIA, THE ESSENCE OF EMPATHY; BLOG #180;APRIL24, 2015

THE MESSAGE:

Recently my Kinley grandchildren were faced with an untimely and troubling decision. Their father, following a lengthy stay in hospital, returned home with a compromised immune system. It was decided that having a dog, Taylor,  in the house would not be compatible with their father's health. As a result, they willingly but reluctantly, took steps to find their dog a new home.

This letter touched my heart and I wanted to share it. Tori wrote  the letter on behalf of herself and her two brothers

VICTORIA (TORI) KINLEY'S LETTER

THE CONTENT OF TORI'S LETTER FOR EASY READING:

Dear new care giver for Taylor

We love Taylor so much and hope you give Taylor what we were not able to. Please take great care of her. It was not easy to let her go believe us. She's a pretty cool dog If anything ever happens to her, please let us know. Email us call us anytime.  The number and emails are on the back. The kids and everyone love her to the moon and back. Please play with her lots and make her feel at home. Walk her at least 3 times a day. The 3 kids Cameron, Connor and Tori (me) would do anything for her and hope you would do the same!

Thank you so much. Let Taylor know we love her, every day.

Have a great time with a great dog!

A CHILD OVERFLOWING WITH EMPATHY

Victoria, on guard at Humarock Beach on Boston's South Shore. Her self imposed mission was to keep the baby seal safe until it could find its way back into the ocean. She chased away a dog and made sure that passers by did not get too close so as to startle the seal.

THE QUESTION:

WHO'S MORE FUN THAN GRANDCHILDREN?

THE QUOTE:

"I'm not concerned about myself anymore. Most of what's happened to me has been great. I have a beautiful wife, six great kids and sixteen grandchildren."-T Fiorini
