CANADA, TOO BAD? BLOG # 2173; FRI FEB 01, 2019

THE MESSAGE:

It’s about time to introduce stricter bail and parole measures and tough mandatory sentences for firearms offenders. Toronto must allow police to do their jobs without suggesting they are racist.

Let’s be realistic for a moment! When you really think about it, many humans have racial preferences. Isn’t that everyone’s right, provided they AVOID the concepts of :

  • ‘DELIBERATE DISCRIMINATION’ Harassment through inappropriate jokes, insults, name-calling or displays such as a poster or cartoons directed at a person because of their race, colour, sex, gender or sexual orientation.
  • ‘VIGILANTEISM’ Taking the law into one's own hands and attempting to enact justice according to one's own belief of what is right or wrong
Preferences are always going to be felt; however, one must embrace the mantra ‘DO NO HARM’?

MONTREAL

Here is a case make it almost impossible to establish true justice in our country. It violates the concept of ‘DO NO HARM’. Robert Gosselin, was charged with inciting hatred online against Jews.

His charges included two counts of uttering threats and one count of inciting hatred. His threats were posted on the Facebook page of the Journal de Montreal newspaper. Among the messages was one that threatened to “eliminate Jews by killing an entire school of Jewish girls.” He had his bail conditions tightened Monday to ensure he stays away from Jewish schools and synagogues.

TORONTO

In Toronto is it a fact that too many crimes and murders are committed by certain ethnic or religious groups?  Do they collect illegal weapons to be used in gang warfare and the illegal drug trade?

To be really safe in Toronto, we must introduce new training programs for police and give them the freedom to prevent and protect without the cries of racism! Bail should not be granted in the cases of violent or repeat offences. or for blatant violations to the safety and the respect of others.

OTTAWA

Ottawa police revealed that Abdirahman Sahal, 18, of Ottawa has been charged with  assault and two breaches of probation. It was a brutal attack!

THE VICTIM IS PICTURED HERE

Facing the same charges is Yusuf Hussein, 18, of Ottawa, still at large.  He is described as a Middle Eastern male, six feet, two inches tall, weighing 224 pounds. He has  short black hair, with a cropped beard. Does it contribute to racism with the description that includes ‘Middle Eastern’?

THE BLURB:

In Toronto, the Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy  was the specialized policing unit known for high rates of ‘carding', occasional inappropriate use of force or a lack of true understanding. The trained tactical unit was formed after Toronto’s 2005 'Summer of the Gun'. It is a fact that TAVIS played an important role in community safety.

We need a new  TAVIS force that can play a critical and positive role in the Toronto neighbourhoods. Police need to be visible and they need to understand why street gangs are fighting against one another.

Toronto Police have accused a man with previous convictions for firearm and robbery offences of committing Toronto’s first murder of 2019.

Ian Dyer, 36, was stabbed to death on Sunday after a fight in a Toronto Community Housing Corp. building, near Midland Ave. and Danforth Rd. Dyer was not a resident of the building, but had been staying there for the last few days with friend.

A resident of the building, at 40 Gordonridge Place, claims it is notorious for crime and drugs. Police say, “There’s a lot of good people in the building and they’re being taken advantage of. And they feel like they can’t live full lives, because they’re scared to move around the building freely.”

Tony will not say, “I Told you!"

MICHIGAN, USA

An individual has created a huge problem without any concern for the welfare of growing children.
His sexual activity is not being challenged. All the charges he faces revolve around his failure to provide financial support.

Kent County Circuit Court Judge Dennis Leiber sentenced Veal, 44, to two to four years in prison for failure to pay child support.  With this sentence, the judge far exceeded the state guidelines, which called for Veal to get no more than six months in the county jail.

The individual mothers are not blameless; however, this person should serve the time in a cage at the local zoo with no parole. His meals should consist solely of brussel sprouts and cow pies.

NO RACIAL DISCRIMINATION INTENDED!

THE QUESTION:

Does Toronto need TAVIS?

THE LEMON:

Awarded to the creators of ; 'BLACK LIVES MATTER’ for their stupidity in raising a bogus movement. All lives matter!

THE QUOTE:

"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.

I'm afraid MLKing's words are a dream. Violence and hatred seem to be worsening worldwide. Toronto is no exception.
