THE MESSAGE:

Because of the ‘Nature of the Beast’, I have always hated politicians who are interested only in getting into power and remaining in power for the future. As a result people like Andrea Horvath never acknowledge a correct or popular introduction made by those in government. Instead they pick on some minor parallel point with which to criticize and bring disfavour to their opponents.

Throughout my aging, I have supported every one of the major political parties that existed. As a University student, I voted for and stood behind the New Democrats in all matters political. As a father of three and husband to a saintly soul, I switched to the Liberals. As I continued to age, I was encouraged to move on to the Conservatives. Never was I attracted by the poorly named Greenies!

My ultimate mistrust for political parties is rooted in the parliamentary system that Canada inherited from the British. We still maintain their BS concept of a useless and sometimes corrupt Senate. This has caused me to always refrain from giving any monetary assistance in the pathetic quest for power by any party in Ontario or the Federal system.

TONY TODAY:

All of the five Catholic Elementary Schools that I attended refrained from a thorough presentation of Canadian History. By the time I reached Secondary School my powers of concentration were limited to girls, friends and sports. As a result, I maintained my ignorance until I attended the University of Toronto where I became well schooled in the reality of partying and drinking beer.

Today, I have educated myself on the Indigenous Culture as it stands alone and with very little support other than government monetary bequeathals. Canadians continue to be duped by the large petroleum magnates in the USA. They give money to bogus domestic charities in order to have them protest against any development of Canadian expansion. On TV we are protected from learning of current issues by Canadian Content Rules, or corrupt decision makers in our economy.

But I digress! What has happened to Democracy? In the USA people decry crooked election results and procedures. In Canada our politicians ignore the pleas of our health experts to ‘stay home’ and help prevent the spread of Covid-19. In large cities, people who really require assistance in finding living accommodations are ignored and plans for low income housing become a gentrified reality.

People with obnoxious laughs. Those loud, drawn out laughs that you can hear from a mile away.

People who leave their dog's poop on the sidewalk.
People with an inflated sense of their own importance.
