YES WE CAN...I HOPE; BLOG # 206; OCT 23, 2015

THE MESSAGE:

PART ONE

As a Canadian citizen it is my obligation to support Trudeau and wish him success as the Prime Minister of our country.

I did not vote for him because it is my belief that Harper was an intelligent and good leader, respected  around the world, and the victim/scapegoat of the weak administration and several terrible policies enacted by some of our provincial governments.  For example, high energy and labour costs resulted in thousands of lost jobs in Ontario.

PART TWO

I hold no such obligation to support the terrible performance of the Toronto Blue Jays’ current manager, John Gibbons. His shortcomings are blatantly obvious. He lacks the instincts, self-confidence, and judgment required to compete with those organizations possessing competent leaders.

Starting R.A. Dickey in a crucial game 4 was a colossal blunder, given the thoroughness of the Kansas City approach. They were very aware of everything Dickey had to offer and took full advantage of him. Unlike Gibbons, the KC manger, Yost, made sure his team was ready. He took advantage of team speed, and timely hitting to win the game in the first inning. It was obvious that Gibbons and Walker had conceded the game by examining his decisions after the Royals led 5-2. He replaced Hendricks, who was very effective, with Hawkins and then Tepera, who were surely not!

As a long time Blue Jay fan and supporter, I truly hope the Jays go on to and win the World Series. Whether they do or not I will always wish them well and will never stop howling for the impeachment of John Gibbons.

THE QUESTION:

WHY GIBBONS, WHY?

THE ANSWER:
