THE COMEBACK:
DID YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU ARE DEAD, THE PAIN IS ONLY FELT BY OTHERS.
YES, AND THE SAME THING OCCURS WHEN YOU ARE STUPID!
THE MESSAGE:
I am a first generation Italian living in Canada who was born during the height of WWII. The war dragged on for six bloody years until the Allies defeated Nazi Germany and Japan in 1945.
It was the most destructive conflict in history. The war cost more money, damaged more property, killed more people, and caused more far-reaching changes than any other war in history.
It is estimated that 1.5 million children died during the Holocaust. The First Atomic Bomb ever made was created during WW2 by the Americans and was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The bomb in a matter of seconds wiped out 90% of the city and killed 80,000 people. Three days later, another Atomic bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki killing another 40,000.
The Koch family is an American family engaged in business and most noted for their political activities. Including donations to libertarian, criminal justice reform, and Republican Party causes. They control Koch Industries, with 2017 revenues of $100 billion. The family business was started by Fred C. Koch, who developed a new cracking method for the refinement of heavy crude oil into gasoline.

I never met or knew my grandparents let alone my great, great grandparents; however, it is with certainty that I feel that the thought of leaving a world in turmoil behind for their future generations, never entered their minds. Somehow I survived to meet 6 children and 16 grandchildren.
Recently the United Nations released the claim that we must undertake unprecedented emissions reductions in order to prevent the most devastating consequences of the climate crisis. Scientists postulate that by the turn of this century global temperatures will rise by 3.2 C and there is a need for rapid and transformational action. The world must see profound changes in how energy, food, and other material-intensive services are demanded and provided by governments, businesses, and markets.
THE BLURB:
How does humanity cope with this?
Tell it to the Rockefellers and the Koch brothers.
John Rockefeller's new venture was called Standard Oil. To grow his business, Rockefeller took an approach similar to other business magnets at the time which was to remove competitors at all costs. By 1882, Standard Oil controlled over 90% of America’s refineries.
To further his mission, Standard Oil made ruthless deals with the railroads. By 1865, Standard Oil was the largest and most profitable organization in the world. He moved the company to Manhattan from Cleveland. To crush his competitors, Rockefeller would create a shortage of the railroad tank cars that transported oil. He’d then buy up all the barrels on the market so his competitors would have no place to store or ship their oil. He bought up all the available chemicals that were necessary to refine oil. The Rockefellers screwed Canadian oil companies by donating millions to protest groups to encourage them to fight pipelines and progress in our country.
In 1904, President Theodore Roosevelt, an opponent of monopolies, vowed to destroy Standard Oil. His flagship company, Standard Oil, was broken up in 1911 by the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

In 1902, Ida Tarbell, the daughter of an oil refiner from Ohio who went out of business because of Standard, wrote a series of articles on Rockefeller’s famous deal with the railroads called ‘The History of Standard Oil’. Tarbell uncovered a crucial piece of evidence proving that Standard Oil was rigging railroad prices and preying on its competition.
In 1904, President Theodore Roosevelt, an opponent of monopolies, vowed to destroy Standard Oil. His flagship company, Standard Oil, was broken up in 1911 by the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

THE EMISSIONS GAP REPORT released November 26th shows that with current country pledges, the world is heading for a 3.2°C temperature rise with G20 nations account for 78 per cent of all emissions.
THE WORLD METEOROLOGICAL REPORT released 25th November shows the concentration of climate-heating greenhouse gases has hit a record high with no sign of a slowdown, let alone a decline, despite all the commitments under the Paris agreement on climate change.
THE PRODUCTION GAP REPORT released November 20th shows that the world is on track to produce about 50% more fossil fuels in 2030 than would be consistent with limiting warming to 2°C and 120% more than would be consistent with limiting warming to 1.5°C.
António Guterres
There has never been a more important time to listen to the science," U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres said in a statement Tuesday. Failure to heed these warnings and take drastic action to reverse emissions means we will continue to witness deadly and catastrophic heatwaves, forest fires, storms, and pollution.
SHOULD WE ASK. WHO DID THIS? OR WHAT REALLY HAPPENED? |
Inger Andersen
Inger Andersen was appointed by António Guterres in February 2019. She declares that countries simply cannot wait until the end of 2020, to implement new climate commitments to step up action. They need to act now. Anderson believes that only major transformations of economies and societies will be enough.
May Boeve is the Executive Director of 350.org, an international climate change campaign. The organization deals with creative communicating, organizing, and mass mobilizing. It strives to generate the sense of urgency required to tackle the climate crisis.
She declares, "the science is screaming.” "To world leaders we say: it is time to stop the expansion of the fossil fuel industry immediately. Not a single new mine can be dug, not another pipeline built, not one more well dropped into the ocean.”
Tony at 10 says,
"Quick, run to the King, Queen, President, Prime Minister, Shah, Dictator and Emir and tell them the sky is falling!”
THE QUESTION:
Where is the REAL data from 100 years ago?
THE LEMON:
I ADDED A FLAG. |
Awarded to the United Nations for failure to prevent civil wars, world wars, abuse of children, and world hunger etc; all the while, concentrating on climate hypotheses and fudged or incomplete data to arrive at alarming, BUT UNKNOWN, consequences far removed into the future.
