I make no attempt to present solutions other than supporting Elizabeth May’s call for a Universal Basic Income Program. People should be encouraged to better themselves. Whatever the job, benefits and family subsidies should not be clawed back. They must be used to raise family income to a minimum level that provides some hope of moving up.
